Although I had not seen my Uncle Jack since I was a child, I have
great memories of him. He was always so kind to me and my sisters.
Jack was my father's (Johnny) youngest brother, and he was so proud of him.! I have added a picture of the five youngest Gibson brothers ,(
Jack is the smallest boy.)

In the memory of my late wife, Katherine Louella 'Sissy' Gibson Hinkle, who would have wanted to wish her remaining Uncle's family her prayers during this time of lost. Jack was a playmate to my mother and her sister in Fayetteville in the old days. Sorry to learn of his passing and wish we could have met. My father-in-law was Jim Gibson, an elder brother to Dr. Jack Gibson. I wish to share a photo that was passed on to my late wife. - dennis hinkle

Dear Dad,
It's Christmas Day and we spent a great day with family but we're missing you. In particular missing not only your presence but your southern cornbread dressing. you were many things, a wonderful cook, a man with a great sense of humor and very supportive of all your children.I give thanks on this day for all that you gave, commitment to our military, your ability as as a healer and your commitment to those who were the most needy. And finally I thank you for your commitment to your family. Love, Katherine

Dear Kathy and Family,
I wish to express my deepest sympathy and feeling of the Lost of your beloved and caring father. As a caregiver to Jack, I saw him as a wonderful and special person. He told me a lot of stories and gave me advice like a father and son. I've no regret knowing Jack and his family. My prayers are with you always. May his soul rest in perfect rest. Amen!!

Even though I only met Uncle Jack once I felt like I knew him so well. My mother, Ruth Ann loved him so much. He made her feel so special and was more like a big brother than an uncle. She told us how he joined the service so he could go to college and become a physician. Both my mother & grandmother, Helen Gibson Lee were so proud of him and how hard he worked to achieve his goals. I remember when he brought the family down to Arkansas to visit. We were all young but I can still picture Uncle Jack and the whole Gibson family and what a great time I had! Marianne, it meant so much to my mother (Ruth Ann) for you to keep her updated on Uncle Jack. We love you all and pray the wonderful memories you have will comfort you during this time.
