It doesn't feel like your gone. It's May now. It feels like it's been forever. You weren't just a family member to me you were my teacher. We both had very high interests in technology. And I know where I get my sense of humor from. I love you so much. Have fun up there. See you sometime soon.
Mr. Begley was such a great teacher. I had him at white Oak jr. high. I'm so sad by this news. my thoughts and prayers to his family.
We are sorry to hear of Mr. Begley's passing. We did not need to meet or really know him but know Mark, Deborah & family well. Once we started reading all these comments from such a variety of people especially past students. So many speaking of his sense of humor...he must have been a great teacher...he made a deep impression on so many lives. As we see all who left messages we think of how many felt the same but for many reasons did not write it. Many may not even know he has passed. It is so wonderful to see this kind of response from so many. His life was full of love, humor & we hope he knew how much he was appreciated but if not he surely knows now. God Bless him & his family. May they find peace in knowing what a wonderful impression he made on so many life's. With Love from the Whitehead, Dunn & Murphy families
This news saddens me.. Mr. Begley was a wonderful teacher and man. He had a huge impact on my life so he will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers are with his family in this time of sorrow.
Things weren't great for me at home, after school, I would go to his classroom while he finished up for the day. He talked to me like a person. That did not happen to me a lot then and it meant the world to me. I feel blessed that I was able to tell him that when he came to work for the government for a while and I was his teacher. A great human being and a wonderful teacher. A truly successful man in the most important way. His full impact on others will never be known, but know that it is all good.
