Doris Hubbard Bates (Hubbard)
I am so sorry for your loss. I certainly know that you have a hole in your heart that cannot be filled. Try to remember the good times and hold on tight to those on the days that you feel that you cannot go on. Also, remember just because she is not here physically, her love will forever be present in your lives. If you need anything please let me know.
Saturday's service was a beautiful tribute to Doris's servitude and compassion for others.
"Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any [a]affection and compassion, 2 make my joy complete [b]by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. 3 Do nothing [c]from [d]selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."
Praying for you and your family. I know your hearts are broken. My deepest sympathy goes out to you during this time.
There will be an empty chair at the holiday table this year, but it will be filled with loving memories.
There is a hole in our hearts, Doris left too soon-Loved her so much---Mae Jarrett
