Lynn, our Mom's were the best of friends for over 50 years through the church & the "Canasta Cuties". I will always remember the wise motherly advice your Mom would give me during my growing up years. I will especially cherish the memories of all the times our Mom's would sit and giggle about anything and everything! We must remember the happy times.
She was a very special lady and her contributions to UWF cannot be overstated. She will be greatly missed.
Lynn, so sorry to hear about your mother-my mother passed away 6-13-2013 so I know how you feel- will keep you and your family in my prayers
Dot Stewart had that special gift of making everyone who knew her think that she was their best friend. Grace, kindness and a listening ear were her hallmarks along with a ready smile and a warm hug for all. She will truly be missed.
With my greatest sympathy, Judy Davis New York
We met Dot Stewart shortly after we came to Pensacola 53 years ago through mutual friends, Marjorie and Malcolm Gilchrist. And what a sweet woman she was, while helping Harold Crosby build UWF from an idea to a first class university. This community is a better place because Dot Stewart gave so much.
God keep her.
