Sandi and I are sorry and saddened to hear of Ed's passing. Also being a retired AF member and traveling the world it was many years of not seeing Ed. Then one year when Sandi and I were back home for a Groveville Memorial Day parade our paths crossed again and Sandi met Ed and Ann – many AF stories were shared. As so many have stated there are many wonderful memories of times at the Atkin's pond, sledding the Hill, the annual Groveville Firemen's picnic and without a doubt Ed's leadership while in the Boy Scouts. I know that Ed is flying high and on his greatest mission – our paths will cross again. Our prayers are with the entire Atkin's family.
Trudy and Family,
Brandon and I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Sadly came upon this news, and yes echo the thoughts and prayers for Ed's early passing. A testament to his character that despite decades of our lives taking their own path, fond and vivid memories seem to always remain. RIP Ed.
So sorry to hear about Eddie's passing. Our families were very intertwined throughout the growing up years. Many memories of the pond and iceskating. From the Fisher Family to yours, we are praying for you all.
