I regret that I couldn't attend the memorial service of such a great man that I admired since the time I was a little boy. I have great memories of my Uncle Emmett. His positivity and optimism was felt each time I spoke with him. I will miss seeing him when I visit Grover.
I have always especially liked one of his quotes on how to whittle cowboy boots. "You just take away all the things that don't look
like a boot." Applicable to manyaspectsmof life.

Dear Veola, Randall, Martin, Sherri, and families,
It was an honor to be at Emmett's service; it was a wonderful tribute to a very great man. You are all like an extended family to me. I am very grateful for that association, for the memories, and for the friendship.
Emmett always made my day brighter when talking with him. It had a person looking forward to the next encounter. He will be missed.
My condolences to all of you. I enjoyed every encounter I had with Emmett. He was a happy man and a joy to work with and be around.
Dear Veola and Clark family,
My deepest condolences to you. I cannot think of Grover without recalling of many fond memories of growing up in a magical place. Grover will not be the same.
Emmett always had a sparkle in his eye. He has left a tremendous legacy.
Love from Colorado,
