Eudora was the most peaceful, kind and generous person I have ever known. She is still just as deeply rooted in my heart as she is in my childhood memories and I will not lose her no matter where she moves on to next. She will forever be the best part of my youth; like a jovial and caring faded photo I carry in my mind. She introduced the Weiss family to a world of love and goodness that has not diminished in a half century. She gave us all the gift of knowing her and we are all better for it.
Eudora was like a second mother to us. She baby sat us so Mom and Dad could get a break from the 4 of us. We knew we could wheedle coffee out of her. What we didn't know was that it was coffee colored warm milk with sugar! We never wanted her to leave, and so she would have to say she heard her mother calling before we would willingly let her go, because one obviously had to respond if one's mother was calling. We were so lucky to have 'Ourdora'. Thank you Wisconsin friends for sharing her with us.
I am sorry for your loss. She was truly an amazing woman. Thank you for allowing EdgeWater to care for her, very much our pleasure. Your families are in our thoughts and prayers. Debbie Boehm
Fond memories ....one of Chet's best friends......Verna
We are so sorry for your loss. We had the pleasure to spend several hours with Eudora over some years and enjoyed talking books and Eastern Star. She will be missed. Prayers for the family.
