I was saddened to tears to hear of the passing of your father. I only met him a few times, but my father who passed in 2005 held him in high regard and considered him a dear friend.I am sorry for your loss.

Alan,Alise, and Andy, I am sorry to hear about your Dad, I first knew him as A News Gazette Paper Girl Carrier to District 10 on Highway 150, then He decided that A Papergirl obviously would make a Good BABY Sitter for you guys and Boss the Dog; He was a kind man who really cared about those around him especially Kids, He made a special effort in the 60's to make sure that some special News Gazette and Courier News paper Kids went to Camp. A treat at the time Totally unexpected but very appreciated May your dad rest in Peace. Linda K Cardiff May, POBox3954 Champaign Ill E-Mail LMay4111@aol.Com

RIP Forest....You were truly an amazing person. The stories you told me daily are still with me. It was an honor to be a caregiver for someone so special to the community. My thoughts and prayers are with you; Alise, Kyle, Andy and family. He's free from pain now and is watching over you. Hugs!

Rest in peace Trooper Clark. The ultimate professional. The Illinois State Police is a better Department because of you. I knew Forest when I was working for the Illinois Dept. of Transportation, 1978-2002. Trooper Clark was always willing to help us out when the need arose. You meet one or two troopers like him in your career. I'm proud to have known him and proud to call him my friend. Deepest sympathy to Alan and family.
