A wonderful man; a wonderful boss - circumspect, professional, empathetic, approachable, likeable and the epitome of a gentleman. The world has been robbed by the passing of this young man! Condolences to the family - from an old Florida colleague of Frank.

God bless.

As decent a human being as I've ever met.
Heartfelt condolences to all the family.
The world is truly a lesser place without
Duke.

While it has been some time since I last saw Duke, I will always remember his calm and goodness. Regardless of what he had on his plate on any given day, he remarkably always had time to listen. It was a gift. He was a gift to all who new him.

Martha, Elizabeth, and Katherine,

It has been a while, and Elizabeth and Katherine, you may well not remember me…But I had the wonderful
pleasure of knowing your Dad and Mom as great pals of Tom Schneider and Jeannie Schneider Montgomery (my sister).
Duke was simply one of the great's. His wonderfully tempered demeanor and slow knowing smile made it easy to
enjoy always thoughtful conversations with him. We shared a common thread of U.S. together and reviving stories of our
exploits and escapades with Tom and Rick Hyde, was always a treat. I so enjoyed the camaraderie of the group, which they all so easily allowed me to be a part.
Albeit, not without a tease or two to keep me on my toes!

Martha, I can only imagine your loss. Hopefully the joys, laughs, and love you shared as a couple, family, and in so many strong friendships, can be allowed to brighten the shadows of your heartache.
You and your family are in our thoughts and I pass along a long, loving hug through Jeannie.

Sincerely,

Mark Osmond
