I have so many fond memories of Uncle Gil! He was certainly the life of any party, and always went out of his way to make me smile:) He will be dearly missed. May the memories he left bring his family peace. Love, Kristie
Dear Aunt Buzzy, Corky, Joy and family,
I was so very sad to hear about Uncle Gil. I can still remember when I first met him, he just really lit up the room! I loved his smile and will always remember how special he was. He will be missed by many! Love Kathy
I will miss Uncle Gil for many reasons, but he left me with a fortune of memories and stories that we will continue to share at our deer camp as we have for the past 50 years or more ! When we were kids, he had the first aluminum tree we ever saw. Our gifts always revolved around cap guns, which got me started on fireworks. Swimming at the family picnics was always more fun if Gil was there to play w/us.Playing cards, hunting, fishing, driving to hunting and fishing ! He truly was one of the finest people I've ever known. When I'm up at the farm especially during deer hunting I know he'll be around, with my Dad, stopping by on the way to the casino.
We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Gil's passing. I have nothing but wonderful memories of him and Auntie Buzzy. He was one of kind and he will be truly missed. Love the Meloy Family
Aunt Buzzy, Corky and Joy and families,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Gilly, but found myself with a sile on my face, because you could never think of Uncle Gilly without smiling.
Then again you could never think of Uncle Gilly without Aunt Buzzy and her "oh Gil" and the hand gesture, a couple that were truly loved and liked each other!
They gave me two great cousins, Corky who I proudly carried his high school picture in my wallet and all my friends thought he was cool and Joy who tried to teach me about eyeliner and and who I thought was so "cool".
I loved coming to your house, it was always filled with laughter, the ever present card game with cousins crowded around trying to win a hand against the "dealer".
His zest for life and love of his family made you just want to be around him. He will be forever in my heart, the laughter he created throughout the years will generate only more laughter as stories are shared.
Sending much love, hugs and smiles, we all are blessed to have him in our lives.
