Esther, We are sorry to hear of Homer's passing. The community is dimished as another Chili grad leaves this earth. May God comfort you and all those that cared for Homer.

I was so sorry to hear of Homer's passing. He and Esther were great friends of my parents Don and Ruth Alber and my uncle and aunt, Gene and Lorraine Ahlfeld. My dad loved Homer's wit (as did everyone) and I remember Homer taking Dad and me on a tour of his farms and their home in the country. And every time I drove by their place I would marvel at how it always looked picture perfect. While I am sorry that Homer is no longer with us I imagine that my Dad is quite delighted to be reunited again with his friend.
You have our deepest sympathy from us here at Rolling Meadows. When Homer was able to visit his wife, Esther, he came daily and spend many long hours with her. We all enjoyed seeing Homer's smile and his wonderful compassion and devotion to his wife.
