With love and warm thoughts,
Jeff and family,
I am so sorry to read of Judge Traver's passing. I worked with Judge Travers in Worcester Superior Court and can honestly say he was an extrodinary, honorable man and judge. He was greatly respected by all who knew and worked with him. He was a unique and tremendous man of integrity and values. He was one of a kind. God bless and my prayers to his beloved family.
With my deepest sympathy,
Linda E. Erickson
Office of the District Attorney
As a friend at the Cross and Herb's roommate at Law School, I would like to add my condolences. Herb was an good student, a fine lawyer and an excellent jurist. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Dear Travers Family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss. I was one of the last Asst. Clerks to work with Judge Travers at the Worcester Superior Court before his retirement in 1998. It was an honor and a privilege to work with a man of such honor, integrity and class. He had a full command of the law, Courtroom and the litigants who appeared before him. I recognized in just a short time that I was working with one of The Great Ones.
There are so many things I learned from his Honor and many stories I still share with others.
One of the grandchildren wrote on the condolences that there was nobody in heaven like him. I wholeheartedly agree and believe that God had a vacancy on his bench and called for one of the best to fill it.
My deepest sympathy,
Worcester Superior Court
It is with the fondest of memories that I remember your Dad. So sorry for your loss. Keeping you in my thoughts.
