I was Mr. Hoecks cargiver and friend. We spent many nights looking at photographs, talking and I wish to thank the family and I am so very sorry for your loss.
Anne -- My name is Alan Veith -- John and I graduated from St X in 1944. We were close friends in room 4C. I left for service In WW II and never returned to Louisville and thus did not have the privilege of knowing John later in life. He was a great guy. I am sorry for your loss.
Mrs. Hoeck and Family - I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Hoeck at UMA and Euler Hermes. He was such a kind man and a pleasure to work with. My condolences to you all.
John was a true gentleman and great leader. I enjoyed meeting and talking to him during his visits to the San Francisco office of UMA. So many of us who worked at UMA were influenced by him and learned from his example.
Greg & family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I also lost my father during the month of December and I know the feeling. May the presence of close friends and family give you comfort in the days ahead.
