Carole, Scott and Heidi,
I am saddened to learn of the loss of your husband/father. I remember him as a kind fun man. Thinking of you all.
Carole, I am so sorry to hear of Jon's passing. I started working at Sandri's about the same time as Jon. We instantly became great work friends. He made my "high pressure" dispatching job bearable. Years later, while on a bus tour with my wife in Maine, we came across "Classic Car Gift Shop" and had an unexpected reunion. Jon was a great person and I have spoken of him often. I will miss him.
Fred Ackermann, Greenfield MA.
So sorry to hear of Jon's passing. When I came to Claremont as the fire chief in March of 1977, Jon was one of the first to welcome me and I have always remembered that.
Skip Sullivan, Hampton NH
Carole, We were so sorry to hear about Jon, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jon was such a great guy and I have fond memories of playing golf with he and Bill in Arundel. I will always remember his sense of humor and his amazing ability to make a lousy golfer like me feel welcome.
Kris and I will miss seeing him around Wonderbrook. God bless, we are thinking of you. Peter and Kris Rogers
Sorry to hear about Jon. I was a neighbor in Unity, my grandmother, Helen Spooner, used his pharmacy all of the time and I am a fellow Unity firefighter. I have many memories of snowmobiling at his house. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. He will truly be missed.
