To my dearest friend Stephanie and her sister Jen and their families - my deepest sympathies to you on the loss of your Dad. I will always remember the last time I saw him at Thanksgiving and he was playing his bands tapes and singing along. He will be missed.
Mr Collins or "Ken" as hey preferred me to say was a thoughtful, helpful and wise man who always had a good sense of humor. He was a wonderful father and grandfather May God bless him and his family in this time of sorrow.
Had lots of words of wisdom for me,outstanding father inlaw,my thoughts are with his family
Ken was a neighbor, but much more, he was a friend. I will miss being able to stop by the house for a visit. He was a good listener, always expressing sincere interest and sharing freely of the wisdom of his own experiences. Many were the times that he offered to help me learn to play guitar. Somewhere in heaven Judy is smiling as Ken and Richie Havens share a tune.
Although it has been many years since we moved away from Washington Avenue, we remember Ken's great sense of humor and the ever-present smile on his face. So sorry for your loss.
