Sally, Melissa and Curt. I was sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I saw him not long ago and we chatted.
He spent time at our house when we lived in Illinois and always thought he was a perfect role model.
A life long friend and I will miss him.

Melissa and family, On behalf of Jeff, myself, our three daughters, Evelyn, Doug and the extended Prescott family, please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your father. My first contact with Col Ray was in 1989 at Mr. Prescott's funeral, the family so appreciated Ray's speech on behalf of Doug Sr. Visiting NH over the years we always looked forward to seeing Ray and Beth. They spoke so lovingly of all of their children and grandchildren. Col Ray kept us entertained, he was special to all of our family. Col Ray was one in a million, we will miss him. He merits from our family what I consider to be the ultimate compliment - we all agree that we are better people for having known him. Peace and prayers to you all.

I got to know Ray in the '60's when we met at school in Ft. Devens. We became fast friends and professional ASA'ers over the years. His advice was always a great help to me. Upon his retirement, he joined the Army Security Agency Alumni Association, National Capitol Region through which we met socially and greatly enjoyed many email exchanges over our remaining years. I want to express condolences to Ray's family at their loss. He will be missed by many of his remaining ASA friends. His obituary has been included in the: www.asaaancr.org Taps roster. May he rest in peace.
