Sandy, we're so glad and blessed to have known your mother - a truly sweet and kind soul. May the Savior, our Redeemer, gather her into the peace of Heaven.

Sandra, I am sorry for you loss. Your mother was loved by every one that knew her and will truly be missed. I treasure a pillow that she made for me. She was so caring and generous. May the Lord give you healing and peace.

Margaret and I had so much fun together because she was FUN. She always had a positive outlook even when things were not going so well. I miss her greatly. She was in my quilting group starting in 1997 when I met her. She eventually moved to Tucson to escape the giant bugs in Texas but we kept up by phone pretty well until she moved to NY. She came to visit me once after she moved and she and my husband had deep discussions about life and religion. She was a Presbyterian and she knew God loved her. She made me a quilt of the mountains and it hangs in my home where it will remain as a great memory of her. I loved her and she loved me.

Margaret showed me so much: how to love, how to give, how to care for others -- especially God's creatures. Because of Margaret I saw newborn lambs, bald eagles, beautiful ducks and mergansers, a days-old camel that staggered to its feet, called to Margaret and walked over to greet her, and an adult camel that kissed Margaret on the cheek. I can never repay what she gave me.
Love,
Brian Summers and my wife, Kathryn Phelps Summers
