Mrs. Bernardini was my Catechism teacher at St. Mark's in Winchester. I still remember (and practice) two things she taught us. She said to make the sign of the cross reverently and to put our left hand over our chest. Also, she said to hold our hands reverently during the Eucharist Prayer and also when receiving Communion (I still do). She also said we should make the sign of the cross whenever we went past St. Mark's Church, and I always did that as a child. My parents (Jack and Agnes Ann Smith) were friends of Joe and Mary Lou and were in the same Confraternity class. My thougts and prayers are with all of you.
Joe, You and your family are in my heart and my prayers. May your faith comfort you and your memories of Mary Lou bring you peace.
Though my words can do little to comfort your family, I hope my thoughts and prayers will help support your family at this time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Speak of her often and always remember the good times!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you today Joe I will keep you in my prayers
