My condolences to Jim and the entire family. I am only sorry I didn't get to meet her; she sounds like quite a remarkable lady who lived a fabulous life.
My deepest sympathy to all the Martin family. I will always remember her as kind of a second mom to me as a youngster growing up at St Matthew's Church. At the basement reception after Church services, she would always try to get me to sit down as I wreaked havoc among the many rooms at the Church!
Betty was always one of mine and my Dad's favorite clients and our dear friend forever. She truly had a "Wonderful Life" and will always be missed.
She was, bar none, the most adorable lady I ever knew. Her vivacity along with her wisdom were delightful. I think of Bette every day and consider myself so lucky to have been one of her friends. And we sat in the pew behind her at St. Matthew's for many years. I'm sure she will charm all who meet her in the world above!!!
love to her wonderful family
With my deepest sympathy, Jim. What a wonderful life she led-- quite an example for her children.
