Michael E. "Mickey" Alafat
TO the Alafat Family
Sincere sympathy in the loss of you Dad. He was quite a
man. We have a 20x40 pool because he said that was the
only size to get. Wow sure would like his help taking care of
it now. We all had some great times on George Hill with the
horses and all the girls. Memories are so healing
We were so sorry to hear about Mickey. We have such fond memories of working at Landers and being a part of that working family. Many happy memories and lasting friendships were made there. Our thoughts are with you all as you celebrate Mickey's life.
My thoughts are with the family, especially Barb and Brent, as you mourn Mickey. I was lucky enough to work with Mickey at Landers, and I also got to ski and work with him at Whaleback. I tried to learn his graceful turns every chance I got! A warm, funny, no BS kind of man who I loved to pieces....
Beth, my memories of your Dad ("Mr. Alafat" to me) are so vivid and so warm. He was always very kind to me and I will always be grateful for that gift. My deepest condolences to you, your sisters, Barbara and everyone who knew and loved him.
Our thoughts are with you all. We have many many great memories of Landers.
May your memories provide you strength during this time.
