Gran you were my mother I was given to you at birth! You we're life's blood and examples of what earthly agape love and unconditional love was in the natural! You taught me to pray to love God sing plant gardens canning crocheting crafting cooking baking sewing quilting hermeneutics biblical principals poetry music history astronomy play writing too much to list! You cried with me prayed and fasted with me nurtures my soul and fed me spiritually while feeding me in the natural and nothing will ever replace your wisdom goodness your Godliness and ability to sow into each of us wretches and love us despite our flaws and never once judge us! You had a strong hand with switches and a gentle hand with salve you made to heal our whelts after you spanked us and I love you for tough love and the right words at the right time in The right season and spirit! You were a mother to the motherless and a father when TRUE MEN were lacking and for all you did and gave we got more than we ever gave back' you bore children and raised men and women of God who extended your tree and legacy my baby your 107th great grandchild led me to research this family tree and your memory and wisdom traced us back to the ex slaves who as our descendants grafted us into unity strength and abiding love despite dividing tendencies and we are ALL indebted to you eternally! Rest with Jesus and enjoy Him speaking "Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant" and kiss my mom, brother, uncles and aunts for me until I am with your sweet presence again! I love you so much Gran and our last talks and what you told me and shared with me I will take to my grave!

May God Bless you and your family in this time of need. I remember your visits to Indianapolis, you would always have a good story to tell and make a person feel special. I wish i could be there to say good bye. You are in a better place. God Bless!! Frank Sims & Kim Duke Sims & Family
