Orson "Stew" Stewart Myers Jr.
Sorry to hear of Stew`s passing. He was always willing to help the council and generous with his advice on outdoor issues as they pertained to the Pere Marquette River. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

This is from Dave Anne Tim (and Vanessa) in Kings Lynn England, we were so sad to hear from Greg that you had lost Stew.
As you remember in 1972 we came from England to Grand Rapids for a year and you Stew and Greg looked after us so well, you never failed us and now you are amongst our very best friends, we have lost an important friend and you and Greg have lost much more.
You showed us so many things and Stew looked after me so well at the Junior College we will be forever grateful.
Bets wishes Ethel, you are in our thoughts, Dave Anne and Tim
Our sincere sympathies to your family and friends. You were a special collegue at the college and I always enjoyed working by your side. Our shared love and commitment to education and the environment connected us. You are a special person and shall be remembered with love and respect. Rest in Peace.
Greg and Nancy,
Susan and I intended to be with you today but road conditions between Grand Haven and Newaygo are grim and with the schools closed we decided not to attempt the trip.
I will miss Stew very much. He was my friend and hunting companion for many years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please hug your mom for us as you celebrate the life of a man who did so much to preserve the conservation heritage of his state and served as a wonderful teacher and mentor to a generation of young people.

Stewart was a long time friend and we loved him so much. We will miss him.
