I will always remember how thoughtful Aunt Tootie was to me, my brothers and family. She kept up with every birthday and always kept us cousins in line. She named all of her cars and would treat the nieces and nephews with such respect. She is a remarkable duaghter and sibling and treated my father as she did her own family. You are and will always be loved!
To the Fennelly Family:
So many wonderful memories do I have of knowing so many members of this family, especially Mom Fennelly. And, good times at the family home with my dear dear friend Peggy. Tootie was in my sister, Maggie's class and we lost Maggie unexpectedly this year on October 5th.
May you both rest in peace with God.
Aunt Tootie, I will always have the fondest memories of you.. your sweet smile and your willingness to give. You were always so kind and could never hurt a fly. I will always remember when I was doing a school project on our family history and came over to your house. You had pictures and stories for hours, and I loved hearing and learning all of it. I will take that with me always. How happy you will be this Christmas with your parents, with a free mind and no pain! Rest in peace, and enjoy your joyful reunion with those you have missed so much. I love you!
Tootie was a neighbor and a very dear friend of my family. I remember Tootie taking me and my Mom Dorothy Finch and my sister to St Louis. We had a very good time. I will always remember Tootie coming over to our house to visit. Tootie caught my bouquet at my wedding. Tootie was always such a family person. I know she will be missed by the Fennelly Family.
Rest in peace, dear godmother. You have left a lasting impresion on us all. Always willing to help, keeping secrets, having fun, sharing popcorn and tacos, picking me up in Chicago and driving me back to Davenport for a visit every summer. "Turning out the light" for Gram, and all the wonderful things you did for so many. You were always patient, cheerful, quick to forgive. You were a true believer and you practiced it daily. We'll always have the fun songs you taught us from your teaching years. I sing them to my kids today. Magalena Hagalena and all the others. Wishing you joy forever in heaven. You were a true servant of the Lord and He has prepared a place for you.
