Thanks for the memories for which I will always be grateful. You opened my eyes to everything around me. To Nature and all the creative things. The purse you made me out of a pair of your old jeans, the necklace you made for me out of seeds on Maui. The time we spent together on the 100 acres in the mountains of Hepner, Oregon, with my two boys Pat,9, and Jason,4, and dog Blackie. We were hippies, 23 and 26 years old and Life couldn't have been better. The Lord knows that I wish things could have been different, but these are the things I learned from you; first, what true romantic Love really is. Second, I'd rather live in a teepee with the right person than live in a mansion with the wrong one. Three, that my greatest joy comes from the simple things in Life, like holding hands, looking at the stars, sunrises and sunsets, ocean beaches, hiking and traveling.Four, there's nothing like a great dance partner and the right slow song.I learned from you how to deal with heartbreak. But through time I realized that the free, adventurous spirit in you had to move on, so other people could enjoy you. I'll always cherish the last time we were together. Please give Jason a big hug and kiss for me as he went to his mansion in Heaven 4 years ago at age 41.
'Til we meet again,
Happy trails,

P.S.- My happiness does not depend on other people, but comes from Jesus Christ who gives me joy, peace, love and strength to enjoy everyday.

I will miss you so much. You taught me my most valuable lesson in life and that is to value every part of mother nature, including people. You are a great man and am so blessed to have had that the time with you. You influenced my life greater than you will ever know.

I will miss you Uncle Pat! I will never forget how you sat with me and taught me how to play on your drum set. You were so patient and encouraging! And still to this day I hope to own a drumset of my own to rock out on...thanks to you! You were a kind man with a radiant smile... Our time with you was simply too short. I love you.

I consider myself blessed for the time we were allowed and I will cherish the memories of our hugs, holding hands and the funny things you said. I am a better person for the time we shared. I felt you with me this last weekend up in the mountains, by the lake ~ thank you for that!

My heart goes out to all of my beautiful aunts, cousins, Ashley, and the many people who were lucky enough to have held a place in your life, and shared what we now know as your precious time. You are forever in my heart.
