I was shocked to hear about Paulette when my sister, Peg, told me. While I didn't know her, I went to school with Nancy, knew Esther, and rode the bus with Rob/Bob. I am so sorry for the loss to your family and hope you all can feel the comfort of His presence during these dark days.

In reading the earlier entries, I confirmed what I could already have expected from having known Nancy while @ Shade. Paulee was a genuinely kind person who will be fondly, yet sadly missed. Nancy, Esther, and Bob, my thoughts & prayers are with you all! Love, Susan (Rist) Burke

John and I send you our heartfelt sympathy at this awful news. Paulee, so sassy and so giving, always greeted us with hugs and smiles. What a classy gal. She will be sorely missed.

With all my heart and soul, I'm thinking about you. I didn't know Paulee, but I remember you talking about her with such fondness and love. People will tell you that you will get through this, but the truth is you can never get over it - and that is how it should be. We never forget our loved ones. My husband passed away last July so I know the pain. You were always there for me at ACCS. If there is any way I can help, please call.

To Paulee's Family, I am so sorry for your loss. The world lost a beautiful bright star when we lost Paulee. She was one of the most amazing ladies I've ever known. See, the thing is I only got to know her for brief periods of time. First, when she helped a friend with cancer that I was taking care of. She selflessly stopped by after she got off work to style her wig and paint her nails for her. And then by seeing her sweet smiling face everytime I came into Attitudes to get my hair done. She wasn't even my stylist, yet she went out of her way to make sure she said hello and asked how I was doing and she always tried to talk to me a little if it was at all possible. Because that was Paulee. She was a genuinely caring person. Even though we hadn't had that much time to get to know each other she made me feel like we had known each other forever. That was her gift. She was this special beautiful soul that touched everyone around her and made them feel welcome and at ease.
There are no words that can say how much I'm going to miss her. But she was an angel here on earth and now she's taken her rightful place in Heaven.
God bless you all. You're in my prayers.
