My deepest condolences to the Medeiros family. May you find strength in the words of Isaiah 51:12, "I myself am the One that is comforting you."
I feel so privileged to have met Pauline, such a vibrant, loving, generous soul. Her spirit lives on through her Dear Daughter Jennifer, one of the strongest, kindest, most beautiful women I have ever known. I am honored to call you my friend, Jen. All my love to the entire Medeiros Family... wishing you peace.
The last time I saw Pauline was at a hockey game for her grandson Jeffery. It was early in the morning and she wasn't feeling all that great, but she was there... cheering, because she never missed a game. She was a wonderful soul who, along with John, passed on an amazing spirit and love for life to their beautiful daughter, my friend Jennifer. I will never forget you "Mama". As we say in Judaism... "May her memory be always for a blessing".
To the Medeiros Family,
I met your mother when she worked at the rectory at St James. My brother was a priest in residence there. She was an amazing woman who showed love for everyone. Even in his final days, she treated him as only a mother would. She would sneak candy to my young children when they would visit. I would often meet her at the grocery store and she would always talk to me about her beautiful grandchildren. She was so proud of all of you. What a wonderful woman she was.
May you find peace in all the great memories you have of her.
With love and prayers,
The Guerard Family
