We just heard the news about Rick. He was a special person who served his congregations with distinction over the years. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Marci and family.
Mrs. Leestma and extended family,
My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy go out to you.
Marcia, "Ricky", Marc,and "Betsy",
How fondly I remember the days of going next door to babysit at the parsonage on Powers Ave. Rev. Leestma was a wonderful pastor and great counselor for the young people of West Leonard! (How can it be that we "young people" can be retired ouselves now?)I can still see his fingers using "quotation marks" during sermons, and his explanation of and emphasis on integrity in our lives. Also "What then doth the Lord require of thee but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God" Your husband and dad practiced what he preached. And now he is walking triumphantly with his God! My sympathy to all of you in your loss!

Dear Ed and Millie DeGraaf and family:
Our deepest christian sympathy to you and your family on the going home to glory of your beloved brother and uncle.
With our sympathy.
Arie and Mary Noordsij
Dear Mrs. Leestma and family:
I just read in the GR Press(via e-mail)of Rv.Leestma's entrance into glory. My wife and I wish to extend to you and your family our deepest sympathy and the comfort of God's Word and Holy Spirit during this difficult time.
I fondly remember our time in West Leonard St CRC's catechism classes together-those "discussions" we had together after class-sometimes rather "deep" theological "debates" over something he'd said in the class.
God's blessing be with you and yours. Ps.90
Yours in Christ's service:
Rev. and Mrs. Marvin J. Leese
