Mr. Cochren was my favorite teacher at PCHS. He was one of those teachers who truly cared about all of his students, even mischievious ones like me. I remember his hikes up behind the school teaching us about all the different plant and animal species, instructing the class while chewing on a stem of straw he had plucked as we hiked around those hills. To this day I still remember those lessons, some of the best I had of high school. His legacy is all of those students lucky enough to have had one of his classes. He was a good man.
Mr. Cochran was one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. During our years together at Platte Canyon he was a mentor to me, and helpful in my early years. He was an excellent teacher, and I'm so glad that my son had him for biology.
