Just had a nice note from Audrey, Dick' s loving bride.
Yep, "Windy" and had a lot of fun together, and got into enough trouble to be normal in that day and age. We flew lots of model airplanes in the field by the Highland Water Tower. One time when we took a bus to St Cloud for a model airplane meet we got there late and just slept on the ground in an open field. We woke up with the sound of a light plane landing almost on top of us. We had gone to sleep in the landing field for the small airport.
Yes, we had fun. I will always remember Dick, as will my wife, Carol, who also knew Dick well.

Dick and I were class mates at Cretin, class of '52. We were much into building and flying gas model airplanes. Went to many of the AMA Model Airplane contests. Lost track of dick when I joined the Army in '53. Back in '56, back to school, saw Dick a few times.
We had great times together, both in and out of trouble.
Sad to see him go.
