I had been to my friend Brandon's house only once before when I showed up late one night, several years later. Immediately upon seeing me, Robert extended his hand and called me by my first name.

A small anecdote, but one that is reflective of the kind of man Robert was.

We will miss Robert. Robert has been a great friend and neighbor. A master carpenter with a special gift of perfection. He has watched over the neighborhood with vigilance. May he be rewarded for his many good deeds. My condolences to Kerry and Brandon.

Robert was fun loving, compassionate person, always willing to help us with any problem we had at our home and the Clay Pot Eatery. He made the décor at the Clay Pot many years ago. I always enjoyed it when he came out to work at the Clay Pot. He was a fantastic carpenter. We all considered him part of our family. I myself considered him as one of my brothers. He will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. He will be greatly missed. I have some very fond memories of Robert that I will never forget. He will be greatly missed. Thank you Kerry and Brandon for sharing him with us. With love, Phyllis, Vicki, Sandie and Nick Miller
Condolences to Kerry and Brandon.

RIP our dear friend. We will miss your smiling face, constant jokes, quick wit, your visits, occasional jam sessions with our family. You were part of our family. We love you and miss you! Condolences to Kerry and Brandon.

I will miss Robert stopping by to visit sometimes in the middle of the street. We always had good visits about things going on in the neighborhood or the world and he always had a good or interesting spin on things. And he was always checking on my office and keeping it from falling down. He had a great sense of family and was proud of Brandon and the person he was becoming. Robert was one of those people that helped out any way he could and as his neighbor of mostly 20 years I will miss him. The neighborhood will not the be the same without that white van with the waving Robert going by that always gave you a sense that every thing was OK in the neighbor hood. My condolences to Kerry and Brandon on this sad time but we do have some great memories of Robert. And you know if there is any thing I can do to help I am still just down the street. Your neighbor, Wayne
