Dennis and I went through Fairmont Elementary School in New Albany together.
He was always a nice kid and a good baseball player. He was the sports editor of my newspaper. We were in Cub Scouts together, Den 1, Pack 54. Dennis' aunt Nora Renshaw worked in my jewelry store.
I was always proud of Dennis' achievements. He was one of the good guys.
Curt, Amy, and Bess, please know we are holding your whole family in our hearts and prayers. Shari Bennett and John Marsh
To me he was coach renshaw. He not only taught us guys a lot about basketball he made it so much fun. I played for him at hazel wood jr high in new albany. He was a great teacher to me and a lot of kids back in 1971. Southern indiana sure will miss him. Rest in peace coach and god bless his family.
Dennis was a very nice man. I had the pleasure of getting to know him while working at Noblesville Middle School. I am deeply saddened by your loss. He certainly was a very special person in the lives of many young people. He will be missed. Prayers for comfort and peace in this time of sorrow.
As the current principal of Richmond High School, please know our hearts, thoughts, and deepest sympathy go out to Denny's family at this difficult time. I was a teacher/coach at Richmond High School during Denny's tenure as principal and we all have such fond memories of him as a great, great principal! May beautiful memories help bring comfort and peace to all who knew and loved him.
