I am sorry to hear of Sidneys passing. I haven't seen Sidney often since car pooling with him during the old ARO days. His frienship was a blessing. He could always tell a story especially about his crop dusting days. I know he will be missed by all. GOD BLESS
J.T. and Robbye Messick Ivie will miss our outings and visits. Rest in Peace
Mary, I will miss Sidney's great sense of humor and his faithful presence in class on Sundays. You, Todd and the family are in my prayers.
Todd, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Your Father was a great man. I remember as kids that your Dad used to tell us the he wanted to retire someday and become a short order cook. I always thought that was funny. I hope you and your family can find peace and comfort in the coming days and weeks. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
THIS was a SPECIAL man! Sid and Dot, along with Mark and Todd, formally lived directly behind my mom and dad for years. Through Dots passing and my moms. Sid always checked in on my dad, even til the day of dads passing (2002) at 84. Sid would mow dad's yard for him especially the older he got and harder to get around. But our family could always count on Sid to let us know if anything didn't look kosher. Sid and Dot were a Prince and Princess, both of whom we hold a great deal of gratitude. Heaven has welcomed another of the Lord's servants and crowned him with many jewels! God bless you Todd and the rest of the family. Sid made life much brighter for everyone with that ever-present smile!
