My deepest condolences go to Mrs. T's family. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that God can help you heal during this tragic time. Jeremiah 29:12, 13
Through our work, I watched Tewana give her heart to the indigent children in our community. One child in particular Tewana took a special interest in and done her best to spoil him. When he had to move away, he drew a picture for Ms. T. He told her that the picture was to protect her while he was gone. Brought tears to Tewana's eyes. She kept that picture in her office until she retired and took it with her when she left. Tewana gave a special aura to our DHS office. My prayers for her family and all of those that love her.
I remember "Mrs. T" buying shoes and lunch for kids several times while working at DCFS when they were in need. She never made a big production of it, just simply left and returned with whatever the child needed. In a very stressful and emotional job, she found ways to make her co-workers laugh at times when we really needed to. Thank You Mrs. T.
Tewana was a very special person. I have known her and worked with her for years. She used to call me "little lenny". My heart goes out to her children and other family members. She will be sorely missed. My God keep you and bless you. My prayers will be with you.
