God sent an angel down to earth on June 1,1927, to live amongst us. On July 4, 2014, he completed his mission and God called him home. This angel's name was Uncle Ed. Miss you and love you forever, Linda

My dearest Uncle Ed,
I cannot remember life without you being there. You were a unique part of my life. Much more than uncle; grandfather & father to me and my family. Your quiet presence was powerful because of the love and care you showed for me. I have been privileged to have you as part of my life. You truly shaped my childhood memories that I so deeply treasure. We recently took a tour of Mozart's house in Austria. My appreciation for classical music exists only
Because of you! I thank you for all the positive ways you have influenced me!! I can't wait until we see each other again and live life the way it was supposed to be lived! You are very much missed! All my love, Patty

With you Uncle Ed went a piece of my heart. You were not just an incredible loving uncle but a wonderful man. As I grew up I learned so many loving things from you in your actions and in our many conversations. You were the example of family in every sense of the word. I will carry you in my heart and in my thoughts - till we are together again. I will always hold on to and cherish the times we spent together. I love you and I look forward to the day I see your sweet smile again.

What to say about dear Uncle Ed, aka Lala, Leddie, Ungeddie?
While he didn't have a family of his own, he helped raise 3 generations: Rosie, the Twins, and Rachel & Erin. He even gave us away at our weddings. His love of family, music, knowledge and food will never be forgotten. There's not a day that goes by that doesn't include some "uncle Eddie-ism" in my thoughts or expressions. The influence he had on all of us will keep his memory alive. Until we meet again, my dear Uncle Ed. I love you so much. Kellie

We had the privilege of meeting Ed when he lived with Marty and Rose in VA. He had such a mild manner, so kind and considerate. I never heard him complain! He loved to talk sports especially about UK! We will miss him greatly! How we look forward to welcoming our dead loved ones back in the resurrection when they will not have the effects of sickness and old age.
