I worked with Werner at Rudd. At Christmas Toby would make cookies and Werner brought them to work to share. My favorites were the Snickerdoodles. God Bless you and your family
May God comfort you and give you strength in your time of need. May you draw encouragement from his promise of everlasting life. You have my sincere condolences.
Dad you were tough but fair when we were kids. I remember our house was the hang out until you came home from work then the kids would scatter. Most of them never figured out you were really a teddy bear until they became adults. You fooled them with that dry sense of humor you had. And your ability to always keep a straight face even when you were joking. You were a hard worker and a good provider. You instilled that good work ethic in to all four of us. I don't think people know how kind and generous a person you were. You tried to keep that quality well hidden. I know because I witnessed it first hand. Something most people don't know is that you taught us girls how to cook. Your fried chicken recipe always brings compliments when I make it. I am grateful to you for so many things. Being a good Dad, always there for your kids when we needed you. A great grandfather and most recently my best friend. I will miss our long talks and laughing with you over old stories. You had an interesting life. Your past is a real piece of World and American History. I will even miss your stubborness. I am sure that is why you were independent until the end. A quality I inherited from both you and Mom. That quality has served me well especially in hard and adverse times. The world lost a good man and my hero on Nov.27. Rest in peace Dad I love you.
