To Gary's Family: Joe and I were devastated to hear the news about Gary. We were at Larry Wills retirement party last night and Mickye told us. I just can not believe it. We were on the 1st EDS team at the Green Road facility in Raleigh. Gary kept everyone upbeat and was an inspiration. If it was not for Gary I would not have been able to keep my job, move to Raleigh and be with Joe Seay (the customer, oops). Gary was bigger than life and his smile was infectious. Carole and family you are in our prayers at this difficult time.
Joe and Marilyn (Milan) Seay
Carole: Thank you for sending me this link. I am so sorry to hear that we lost this amazing person so soon. Gary was a favorite of our entire family. We all loved him. I remember how much he cared for you, from the first sight. I am glad he got to see State win the Rose Bowl game. God bless you and your family. I will never forget Gary.
To say that I was dumbfounded by the news of Gary's passing would be an understatement. What a class act and an amazingly bright and sharing person!
I first met Gary online at The Motley Fool investing website and sensed a kindred spirit. We worked together online and then in person at a series of investing conferences starting in 2005....all confirming the fact the he was brilliant, funny, sharing and caring.
I was proud to call Gary my friend, and the world is greatly diminished by his passing.
It is a shock! I am sorry to hear about Gary. All my best to Carrol and the family. Brent Coates
I remember Carol and Gary from high school. They were a beautiful couple then and they are still beautiful people. Thinking of you and your family in prayer.
I fondly remember Gary helping me bump my luggage down 15 flights of stairs because the lift didn't work to the underground train in London. He was always ready to help. We often teased about my brother Gary (Anthony) and my other brother Gary (LaRoy). Please accept my deepest sympathies.
While working for EDS/HP I had the privilege of knowing Gary and working day-to-day with Todd. Even though I did not work directly with Gary, I took comfort in his great leadership skills; knowing that he was steering the company in the right direction. My sincere condolences to the Anthony family.
We are keeping you all in our daily thoughts and prayers. We feel a great sense of loss.
In high school Gary was an out standing line man going both ways, offense and defense. Two times I had a chance to shine on the field. Once was when I made a TD,my 1st ever, Gary was the first one there to congratulate me. Another was when I made an interception. I can still hear his voice saying "Hammon you blank, blank bull" We had many good times off the field too. There's just too many stories to convey. He was a good man and one of my best friends and I will sorely miss him.
Our Sympathies on the loss of your Father, Todd. He sounded like a great man. Our prayers are with you and your family. (from Katelyns family)
Gary and I became very good friends and options trading buddies over the past few years. We literally talked on a daily basis. He became part of my life and the only person that I considered to be my close friend. His focus was his family and I remember how much he enjoyed helping his son with his restaurant venture-from the idea to when he opened the doors and got to break-even!
I miss talking with him and the important thing that I can say to Carole and his children is that he was the best, kindest, and most optimistic person I have known.
My heart felt sympathy on your loss. I'll always remember Gary spending time at our house when we were children. A special cousin who brought joy to our family.
I'm not sure even how to put in words the influence Gary had on 1) my family, 2) my career, 3) the person I am today....I guess because its hard to really separate the 3. He was my leader, my mentor, and my friend! Even after he retired from EDS/HP, I still reached out to him for guidance...and he was always there for me. Sometimes his words were comforting, sometimes his words were a boot in the backside, but I always respected what he had to say..I am truely going to miss him! God bless him and the family he was so proud of!
Carole,my prayers are with you. So sorry for your loss.
Carole, sorry in my earlier message I forgot you and Gary also had a daughter. My apologies for not acknowledging her in my message. God bless her as well.
Carole I am so saddened by the news of losing Gary. My heart goes out to you and your boys. God bless all of you. I will miss Gary even though we had grown apart he was still my number one cuz.
God Bless you all in your time of grief. Gary was a kind and loving man who will be missed by all of us.

I am so sorry for your loss, I send my thoughts and prayers onto you as a family. I worked for Gary in Raleigh NC and cannot say enough about his leadership as a professional but more importantly as a person. I have often referenced my time in NC working under Gary to many people in my career. This news brings me great sadness.

I worked with Gary on the USPS Account. He was a great leader. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May he RIP.
I remover a good person in high school. I am very sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry for the family and to hear of Gary Anthony's passing. We did not know Gary but we did know his son Todd, who was a very nice young man and I am sure Gary was very proud of him. He did landscaping in our yard for us and worked with our daughter, Anne, at EDS for many years. We are so sorry for you Todd and your family. Our condolences, Anthony and Jan Milanese
I served as Mr. Anthony's Administrative Assistant in addition to serving as assistant to his Deputy on the EDS/DSOS Account. Gary was a great mentor. He was very excited when my husband and I purchased our first home in 2001. He attended my housewarming, purchased the perfect gift for us, and told me to take a well deserved vacation to get my home in order. My prayers are with the family during this loss. Gary was a special man!
My deepest condolences to the family, you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Gary was my manager at EDS on the State of Michigan Account. I have the utmost respect for him as a leader, a mentor, and a friend. After some difficult work on a hard project, Gary brought me to his office to recognize my efforts with a weekend getaway for my wife and I. My initial response was appreciative, but that we did not have the time to go with 3 small children at home. Gary told me that sometimes the best trips are the unexpected ones and that if I needed someone to watch the kids he planned to be in Lansing all weekend. Well, we did not take him up on the babysitting offer, but we did take the weekend away thanks to his advice. I will always remember him for being tough when we needed tough and soft whenever he felt work was impacting our greater responsibilities with our families. Lastly I'll remember his love for Dagwood's, a local dive bar in Lansing that was his go-to for lunch.
Gary, a dear friend, colleague, teacher, boss, and ever patient mentor. There are few in each of our lives that give so much and ask so little, and yet we strived to give, simply because it was he that asked. I loved him as a man and a friend and I shall miss him deeply. Rest in peace my friend, you deserve it.
I was Mr. Anthony's Admin on the USPS account. He was a great Leader, who took time to teach, and expressed patience with my learning curve. I consider my time supporting Mr. Anthony one of my most beneficial periods in my EDS/HP career. Mary Harkins, HP (Raleigh, NC)
I met Gary in 2002 while working for EDS. After many years of professional and personal friendship he was successful in recruiting me to join him on the Indiana Medicaid account. Working with/for Gary was one of the best career moves I could have made. I found Gary to be a loyal mentor who truly cared about his customer and his team. He was an important part of many peoples lives and will be deeply missed. My sincere condolences to his family.
A lot of people come and go through our lives but there are special ones that change our lives. Gary is one of the special ones for me. He was a leader and mentor I respected, trusted and learned so much from. More importantly he is a friend whose absence will be noticed for a very long time and I will miss him very much.
I had the pleasure of working under Gary's leadership for several years and can say that those were some of the most memorable of years. He was a true mentor and friend and will be missed. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family.
I worked with Gary on the USPS Account he was always a mentor he will truely be missed.
