Al will be missed by so many people. Rest in peace.
I have had the honor and privilege of working with Al and Barbara as their financial advisor for approximately 25 years. Al was a kind and decent man. You never had to wonder what his stance was on ANY issue. I feel lucky to have known him, and appreciate all the years of productive collaboration. Rest in peace big guy. God will take good care of you my friend. I will miss you.
Al was a friend of ours through our neighbors, Roger and Caroline. We came to know how much Al loved his family and how dedicated he was to them. His presence will be greatly missed at the family gatherings. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family.
I first met Al when he married my cousin Barbara. They soon moved to California and I lost contact with them until they visited in the early sixties. From his obituary, I have become aware of his many business and personal accomplishments. I might also add he was responsible for sending names of high school football players (only those who did not meet the UCLA criteria) who showed great potential, to his contacts at the University of Nebraska. Al was right, they turned out to be great Nebraska players. I wished I would have kept in closer contact with Al, Barbara and their family throughout the years. Barbara and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.

This Is hard: Al and I fought like cats and dogs growing up together. He loved to tease me. But over the years we became very close And he always stayed at my house when he came to visit Omaha, We really Loved each other!
