I was stationed with Woody in Misawa Japan as well as in Fort Carson Colorado in the Army Security Agency. We shared an apartment off base in Colorado and was one of my life long friends and we kept in touch a couple of times a year. Great guy and with great stories. I can still remember he and I going to Hachinohe and Woody took tons of pictures with his Nikon camera.

David, so sorry to hear about Buddy. I've been trying to get in touch with y'all. I was Nita Woods. If I remember correctly our Woods grandfathers were first cousins. My email address is nitawn1967@gmail.com. I'd like to hear from you. Again my condolences.

Remembering what a wonderful and caring man Mr. Woods was. We all fought to take his photography classes in HS. He was more than a teacher he was a confidant and friend. I will remember you always.

Dear Woods family,

I was very sorry to hear of Buddy's passing. I worked with Buddy at Clarke Central from 1990 until his retirement in 2002. I remember him as a gifted teacher and a very nice man. He worked hard in his classes and always produced a great yearbook by the end of the year. Those of us at Clarke Central that worked with Buddy remember him fondly. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Sincerely,

Harry W. Cooper

Please know that Mr. Woods touched so many people's lives in a positive way. We went out of our way to take his class because it was so enjoyable. He was a huge part of Clarke Central and our CCHS Family. It's such a loss and on the weekend of our 25th Reunion, it's sad to lose such a great educator and friend.
Our heartfelt prayers and condolences at this difficult time.
