I just found out about Freddie's passing, and am so saddened by the news. The LaGrange Mansour's are distant family in blood, but very close family to mine. I have had the privilege of growing up with the LaGrange and El Paso Mansours, who have greatly enriched my life.
Although it has been many years since I have seen my Mansour family, I have so many fond memories of many years with them. Freddie was a wonderful constant to the family. I remember his personality as carrying on Uncle Alfred's legacy by always being a strong and true gentleman, and an honest business man who always took care of his customers to the best of his ability. I loved Freddie's personality; like his father, a model Southern Gentleman.
I send to Freddie's family most heartfelt condolences, from my family; Lewis Price, Jr., Joy Dee Hatchett Price, Lewis Price, III, Jerri Lane Price, my sons Nicklis Scott Kramer & Jacob Grigsby Kramer and myself.
I wanted to reach out and send my condolences to Fred's family. I am his advertising AE and every time I got to speak with Fred it was the brightest part of my day. I will always have fond memories of our chats. He was an incredible man and I'm blessed to have known him. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Fred will be greatly missed.
So Sorry to hear of Fred's Passing. My Mother, Betty Pye, and I worked with Fred for many years. My first real job was at Mansour's. My Prayers are with all of the family!
I was so sad once I read about Fred's passing. I have not seen Fred since high school, but once my nephew, Clay, began working with him at the store and occasionally with the horses and Clay realized that we knew each other, we began exchanging stories about our experiences with Fred and shared many a laugh. Remember the good times!
I loved Fred for many years after all he was my son-in-law for many years. I was also happy to hear from him over the last years and we still had a great love and respect for each other and I will miss you Fred but will see you soon. Jesus is coming soon to take us all. Mama Nini God bless you and Bless you Laura too.
