Helen and Family,
Allen had a beautiful spirit and it was a joy knowing him. When we talked on the phone, he was always happy to share memories of when we lived in the mountains and of all of our relatives. We will miss his bright smile and sunny disposition.
If you need to talk or there is anything we can do to help, please let us know.
We will aqlways have our precious memories of him because he touched so many hearts.
Our love and sympathy is with all of you at this time.
Your cousins, Geneva Redder, Brent Redder, Ruby and C.R. Bartley
What a nice and shining example on how to treat everyone with courtesy and kindness. I rememeber Mr. Rose as a child. Even as a kid, we all inherently knew him and respected him as Mr. Rose, The Nice Man with Candy!! It's probably been thirty years or more since I've seen Mr. Rose, but I'll never forget how welcoming he was to everyone. Even snot nosed little nuisances like myself. To the Rose family, our heartfelt condolences. I'm happy that you had many years with such a nice man.
Love to you all. May the candy dishes in heaven be forever full of peppermints. There are few men who embody love as fully as Grandpa Rose did. He lives on through many beloved people's memories. He certainly does in mine.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers
Dear Helen and Family- Allen will always be remembered by us for all the good times we enjoyed together. Al was a Great Soldier, Brother Mason, and a True friend. He will be missed by all.
