Grandpa,

You were always a great person to talk to, you were always uplifting in everything you said. It didn't matter what I was doing with my life you were always proud of me. You used to tell me that you were always bragging about me to all of your friends and I believe you really were. You were a great man and had so much love in your heart that you expressed to everyone around you at all times, quick to make friends and so many stories to tell. I love you grandpa and will miss you.

Love,

Adam Thomas

Grandpa,
I love you! I have so many memories of you. Your laugh, stories, your love for adventure. You are a wonderful grandfather. I remember you always went out of your way to make me feel special and that I mattered to you. I will never forget Winchell's Donuts and the motorcycle rides we would take. I love your determination, I remember one time you came to visit us and you did not have a car but you wanted McDonalds. You found out a way to start my dad's car without keys and took us. Unfortunately one of us kids locked the door and we were stranded at McDonalds until dad came to our rescue, but Grandpa kept a smile on his face and kept us kids happy. I love you Grandpa and I look forward to the day we can meet again!

Love always your Grand-daughter Amber Ruth Thomas Anderson

Allen was my best friend!!! We had a happy marriage for 25 years, then he lost his job cause he got sick. Struggled from that day on, but he was so determined to keep us together. Love you to eternity and beyond.

Grandpa,
I have been thinking about exactly what I am going to say. You were a great man, truth be told. I have always looked up to you. You were a man full of courage, love, energy, and humor. Always had a great sense of adventure. A few memories of you were how you used to take all of us kids to our games and different events. I loved the jokes and your stories were the best. I learned many important life lessons from you. I remember how you were so proud of me for graduating from my nursing program. You told everybody I was your little nurse. You made everything fun even when it was not suppose to be fun. I remember being your driver and taking you around to different places, and the one time we went to the doctor's and I was pushing you around in the wheelchair like speed racer, the smile on your face was so touching, it was so fun. Thanks for the great memories and all the fun. You truly will be missed by all. I love you so much and hope your new adventure in Heaven will be full of fun. I love you forever and always Grandpa.
Love always( your grand-daughter)

Allen was "one of a kind" and will be missed. He was tough on the outside, a marsh mellow on the inside and had a great sense of humor! Jaydene, Allen Dee, Vallen, Starene and Dorene, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
