He was my grandfather but he was also an entrepreneur of all kinds ranging from Still Mill Worker, Glass Maker to Restaurant Owner, Pastor and Businessman. I look back now and wish I could have spent more time with him, learning from him and helping him further his business acumen. I think with the right direction my grandfather could have been very successful in everything he did. He was successful in everything that mattered, from singing the gospel and running his charities to spreading the word of god to everyone he met. He leaves behind an amazing legacy, I would like to think that my ability to give freely of myself and care deeply about others resonated from my grandparents, all of them. I will live everyday as they taught me, I will continue to give selflessly and tirelessly. I walk every day in their shadow, I aspire to that level of greatness, knowing that only god can be the judge of that. Thank you grandparents for the mold that you have made and thank you Papaw for living every day to the fullest and teaching us to cherish every moment. I will miss your humor and wit the most, you always made me smile with your amazing energy and undeniable self-confidence.
Love you Papaw,
Tina Dawn Bass (Pridgen)

With deepest sympathy, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I remember my mother Dot Canada taking me when I was little to play Gospel music with Andy and several others. He did love to play music and serve the lord. Prayers for his family. I have great memories of Andy.. He was very kind and a caring person. I am so sorry for your loss, but I honestly know without a doubt, he is rejoicing in Heaven!
