What a blessing Ange has been! As I told him & called him the "true Italian stallion!". Someone mentioned in a previous post regarding his "magnetic personality"! A perfect description. An incredible man. As always Ange, I love you!
Each year I looked forward to seeing Ange and Wilma at Connie and Kent Reinhold's annual Christmas celebration. Ange was quite a "chick magnet" as when my Swedish Mom was there, she would gravitate towards him. They would talk and talk about Italian foods. He was so warm and friendly and you knew he had a heart of hold. My condolences to the Fierro family.
Ange was very kind to me. He was my very first barber and for a little girl, that was a big deal! If I didn't cry during the haircut, he'd let me have a root beer from the soda machine. I remember him fondly and send my condolences to the family.
My memories of Ange & Wilma go as far back as I can remember. Visits first to Dale's Drugs then a short walk down the block to the barber shop where Ange would give my brother Carl his buzz cut. When my brother Chris was old enough he too went to Ange's. I probably was always happy to go along because I got a "Bit oh Honey" candy while my Mom (Jeanne) & I waited. Ange was a dear friend to our father, Lee Allen Johnson. I never saw Ange without a smile on his face, a wonderful man.

My condolences go out to the Fierro family at the passing of a very good man. Ange was always warm and friendly every time I saw him. Our families go back a long way as I attended 1st grade at Rio Vista school with Judy. I had my haircut by Ange for years and will always remember the time I was old enough to ride my bicycle down to the shop to get a haircut by myself. I told Ange I wanted that “flat top with fenders” cut , he said he didn't think my dad would like that , but did it pretty short , so everyone was happy ! Ange and Wilma attended my parents (Charlie & Bette Rose) 50th wedding anniversary and mom has played bridge with Wilma and the girls for years. The mark of the man comes at the acts of kindness. Ange was always there for people , my dad was in the nursing home for a year before he passed and Ange would come cut his hair. It was really not about the hair cut , it was about the visit . Rest in peace
