To the Fitzpatrick family:
Ann was my teacher for both 4th and 5th grade back at GPA. She was very good at relating to children and was very good at her profession. She touched me in my educational career that I am just now realizing some 30+ years later. She will be sorely missed.
To Ann's family,
I lived across the street from Ann when 1st moved to Petoskey. She was always friendly and we would walk to school together. Ingrid I Butler
Thank you for the wonderful pictues. I feel like I have lost a sister. We became friends in 1944 as 8th graders in Petoskey. In 1945 we were across-the-street neighbors. We had a great rivalry when she went off to Michigan State and I went to the Univ. of Michigan. After I went to work in Chicago I would take the train to Grand Rapids and we would drive Ann's car to Petoskey. Ann was the matron-of-honor at my wedding. Our sons, Pete and John, were born within 3 months of each other. She and "big" Pete agreed to be named caretakers of our three children in our wills. I will continue to miss her for the rest of my life.
My heart goes out to you during this difficult time
