Anna "Mae" Belanger

Doug and Gail, your mom was such a sweetie. Never an unkind or loud word out of her. It's funny how we ended going to the prom together twice - in our freshman and junior years if I remember right, and never once did we share a kiss. We laughed about this many times. It was a last minute decision both times to go together. ha! But we sure had fun! Life was so simple then so it didn't take much to have a good time. :) She had such a good sense of humor. Plus a heart of gold. Lorraine and I are going to really miss her at our class luncheons because she was always such a big part of that and always had a smile, and no matter where we sat, she always made it a point to chat a little afterwards if we weren‘t sitting close enough to chat during the meal. Lorraine liked her soo much and at home she'd often tell me, 'May is the sweetest girl" We visited her once together at her house and she was soo proud of her new home and showed us everything and how convenient everything was for her. She said Wally wanted the best for her.

I don't know if she ever told you, but I visited her once at her house when she wasn't doing all that great some months ago and we had a really nice talk and laughed a lot as we covered the old days. Keep your chins up because your mom is much happier now than she was here. I believe very firmly in the "communion of saints" which means we always have complete communications whenever se put our minds and hearts to use. Obviously we can't hear her but listen with your heart and you will. he's sees you and prays for you constantly. 'm very positive of that and she‘d so whatever she can to help you… more than she ever could have done here. Also, I'm sure she's present to enjoy every special event or occasion you and your family have. Praying for her often is the best thing you can do now. Just think, your mom and dad are together because they were such a loving couple. :) You have our deepest smyphathy. Our prayers are with you. God bless you all and know that we'll never forget her.

Dear Doug & Gail, oh what can I say that hasn't been said? Your Mom, my dear dear God-mudder, was a joy to be with. Who didn't admire her warmth and wit? She remembered me on every one of my birthdays! We will miss her so much. On behalf of my own Mom, Eva (her only sister) and our entire family, we pray for your solace and hope the days ahead bring peace. xxx & ooo, Jan

Dear Gail, Doug, and Family,
First, may we share our deepest sympathy with you. Anna Mae (and Wally) were our tax clients for more than 35 years. We spent many a time discussing life, common friends, and other issues of mutual concern. We found Anna Mae to be a very strong and loving person, who always had a bright outlook on life -- even when she was fighting cancer. We will truly miss her smiling face, but she will always be in our memories and prayers.
