Archie Leo Bradburn 1922 - 2014

Archie Leo Bradburn

Thursday, January 23, 2014
I've known Mr. Archie for quite some time now and I'll never forget how sweet and polite he always was to all of our staff members. He loved his family more than anything, and was always willing to help people. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Papaw you taught us many things in your lifetime
Although of your 91 years only 38 were mine
When I think of you one word comes to mind
That is word is Love because like you it is patient and kind
Your love did not envy or boast was not arrogant or rude.
You had the type of love I wish we could all exude
You did not insist on your own way; not irritable or resentful
But always an abundance of love; your love was plentiful
You did not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoiced with the truth.
This amazing love you possessed must have been your fountain of youth
The Bible tells us Love believes all things and bears all things, hopes all things and endures all things
So death you have no victory and you have no sting
Papaw I am grateful to know that Love never ends
Because like our Lord Jesus Christ your love transcends

Love, Bridget
