In my 1975 yearbook, Mrs. Adams wrote "Peter - I shall certainly miss the crowd in the corner. Best of luck always. A Adams" Mrs. Adams was so respected and admired, and loved, by her students. I am so sorry for your loss. The "crowd in the corner" was a group of students who met with Mrs. Adams apart from the regular class to discuss literary classics - as a result, "Victory" by Robert Conrad is to this day one of my all time favorites. She shared her passion for great writers and great stories with a generation of students who will be always grateful.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May the God of all comfort, comfort your family at this time. 2corth 1:2,3
I had Mrs. Adams for English at Fort Hun High School on a couple of occasions and thoroughly enjoyed her classes. She made English not only interesting but fun as well. I have often described FHHS's English Department to people over the years and they have been amazed at its sophistication and quality. This was due in no small part to Mrs. Adams' professionalism.
