My world is a different place since you left us, Mom. I am profoundly sad but thankful that I saw you almost every day for the last nine years. Praise the Almighty that you are finally in a place worthy of your character. You truly deserve the best of everything for all you gave to your family.

Barbara Jean Davis--How sweet the sound! She was a beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (GREAT YAYA) and friend. Barbara Jean Davis...how sweet the sound! She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (GREAT YAYA!) and friend. She was a true honorable, patriotic, and giving person throughout her life on this earth. The Angels in heaven are rejoicing to have her among the heavenly bodies. Barbara was such a beautiful lady with a gentle spirit. I will miss her coming into Dillard's shoe dept and giving me a hug. I always looked forward to those moments and the smell of her perfume. I love her and will miss her very much, but I have the assurance that I will see her again some day. God's peace to the family.
