Dearest Grannie. You have always been in my life. In my memories. In my heart. And now you are actually beside me ALL the time, as an angel, a guardian, and a soft touch. My mom, your daughter Doris, got so many of her personality traits from you, and many of her habits were gleaned from you - some strange, some funny, some absolutely perfect.... Funny how a mother's imprint on her children can be so powerful in shaping their personalities and character, and establish their path through life. You always knew who you were and what you wanted, a very strong personality. and a very caring soul to anyone who would accept your offer of kindness and concern. You heldyour trust in God above all else. You never had much money but you were full of life just the same. Physical things were insignificant to you lest they came to you out of love from another. You cherished your God-given life and took care to live it with integrity and faith. You have left us all with a huge void in our hearts, yet a well-manicured path to follow.
