I worked on your farm years ago. I remember Cailey as a fresh little 2 year old smiling face, with baby teeth. She was always a pleasure to sit for and play with, including the boys. She loved them boys like every sister looking up to her older brothers. Much Love.....

Sherry, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. There are no words of comfort but I do know what you are going through. The one thing I can tell you is to focus on the good times that you had with her, may the joy and memories bring comfort to you and the family. It's hard to loose a child at such a young age - I'm so sorry for your loss. Shelley Ladd-IKON

To the family of Cailey L. Baker,
With our most deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. I am not sure if you know us, but we are related to Don & Pam Houser. Daniel is aware of who we are. We also have lost a child. Our son, Josh, was 22 years old when he died in 2007. Our hearts broke when we heard about your, Cailey. You continue to be in our thoughts & in our prayers. If there is anything at all that we can do for you, please don't hesitate to contact us!!
We are in a group called, Compassionate Friends, for parents who have lost children. At the meetings we share our experiences resulting from our child's death, and how we deal with those experiences. The chance to talk and share and listen is so important in the grieving process. If you ever are interested in attending, there is no time frame in which to start coming. Come when you think you are ready to meet others who understand how you feel. There is a chapter in Fort Wayne on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. Meeting address: First Presbyterian Church, 300 W. Wayne St. Room 303. There is also a chapter in Columbia City. For any further information at www.compassionatefriends.org
